OLD ALBANIAN B's 27-DATCHWORTH 26

On Sunday the u14’s were at Old Albanians to play a friendly against Albanians B.

This annual fixture is always close and played in the best traditions of the game with Albanians winning 27 -26 after an exciting game that saw James Hunter, Dean Carmichael, Samuel Elvery and Theo Provencal-Wise go over for Datchworth and George Little kicking 3 conversions.

The game was played in quarters so both teams were able to field their whole squads, with Datchworth finishing very strongly and scoring two tries in the last period. With a with a couple of minutes left Datchworth mounted a multi phase attack from the kick off which nearly saw them round off a great team performance but were stopped just short.
