The Mini Section still took teams in every age-group and enjoyed an excellent three-way fixture with Hitchin and Finchley
Week 9... as you know we do normally work hard to keep the focus on our own Rugby sides at Datchworth but I hope you can excuse this week kicking off with a comment on the barnstorming and utterly convincing England Win in the World Cup Semi Final over the mighty All Blacks!!!
On Saturday morning more than 60 people enjoyed the game at the Club and most had the fantastic breakfast to accompany the brilliant game! Unfortunately, our own Senior Side didn’t hit the same heights on Saturday afternoon falling short against Grasshoppers. With half-term upon us most age groups were down on numbers this week, but the Mini Section still took teams in every age-group and enjoyed an excellent three-way fixture with Hitchin and Finchley. The Youth sides were all back at Datchworth on Sunday and had a good morning on the training field after the second Semi Final between Wales and South Africa.
