Week 7 - Sunday 16th Oct - DRFC Mini & Youth Review 2022-23 Season

The Rugby weekend started with a cooked breakfast for those watching the Womens World Cup game between England and France. England won a tight game 13 – 7 with Hannah Botterman playing her part in the win! On Saturday lunchtime the First XV hosted Ruislip for another home-game; like the international it was also a tight game and featured a debut for Connor Sullivan from our Academy side. I am delighted to say this week we came out on top with a tight but deserved 24 – 18 win. Players from our 2nd XV joined up with Black Horse for a game with Biggleswade the combined side were also 38 – 29 winners. On Sunday attention turned to a home Mini Fixture with Welwyn. This fixture was different to our traditional February game but was nonetheless a great morning of rugby….
