Welcome to the Datchworth Under 12s Girls squad. A friendly and fun-focused group who are passionate about their rugby. This is the first age group in the Girls Youth structure and is predominantly for girls in Year 7. However, experienced girls in Year 6 can also be signed off to play in the u12s category. Some of the girls have some mixed rugby experience and others are completely new to the sport. We welcome girls of all abilities and experience and our existing players are so supportive that anyone new quickly feels part of the family... and that includes the parents.

It's such a pleasure to coach them and watch them grow in to confident players who thoroughly enjoy coming to every session and fixture. Our success has come through making everything we do as enjoyable as possible, from our training methods to our social events. If it's not fun what's the point? Our club is a great place for girls to develop their fitness, skills and friendship groups.

During the season (September to April) We train every Wednesday at 7pm to 8pm under floodlights and play fixtures on Sunday afternoons, typically between 1pm and 3pm. Get in touch if you'd like to know more or just turn up to one of Wednesday sessions.
