Women’s Rugby has arrived at Datchworth RFC. It was always going to be an inevitable progression from Girls rugby but we didn’t anticipate having to respond to demand so soon. So many female members, friends, relatives and acquaintances of the club have shown a real desire to start playing, so we’re bringing forward the launch of the Women’s section to this season.

Some are slightly apprehensive, other’s keen to get stuck in, but both camps have one thing in common… they want to have fun. I can promise anyone thinking about trying rugby for the first time with Datchworth, that having FUN will be the primary objective of all our sessions. After all, if it’s not fun, what’s the point? Everyone will be able to develop at their own pace with no pressure to go beyond their limits. But we might try and show you that your limits are probably higher than you might think.

You’ll make new mates, have fun, get fit and you might even discover and side to you that you didn’t know was there.
