The U15’s travelled to Harrow with a few players missing for a friendly and came away with a good 39 – 0 win.
Despite the contest looking like it would be close in the opening minutes Datchworth played with a spirit that has been growing in the opening games of the season and in the end the game was well won.
Dominic Lant scored a Hat trick of tries with Theo Wise adding to his ever growing tally for the club and John Coultas scoring his opening to tries for the club since joining from Stevenage.
Datchworth pressed well in defence and made a lot of tackles and in then managed to build on this by transfering the ball well with backs and forwards combining to good effect. The performance was finished off with a fantastic passage of play going the length of the field to score which included the second scoring pass of the morning delivered by the impressive Dean Carmichael.
Whilst under pressure in the scrums, the Datchworth forwards have taken well to the new skill of lifting in the lineout with Christopher Saunders flying high catching the accurate throws of Connor Harris who again impressed around the field.
