We had another great turnout on Sunday for our 2nd Sunday morning training session, culminating in a very well executed game where everyone gave 100% and some excellent skills were on show.

A warm welcome to our newest lad Joshua Moffatt! We hope you enjoyed your first morning with us and will continue to play your rugby here at Datchworth. Please let your friends know too if they would like to come up and have a go!

This week we began the Parent's award for Man of the Match/Training Session. This will be awarded every week to the player they feel has brought the most to the session, be it skills improvement, commitment, teamwork, or any other category that they feel they should reward a particular player for.

While it was very close to call for the parents as everyone genuinely did seem to give it everything, the inaugural award went to Max Oates, who only started with us last week, but already shows great commitment and enjoyment of the game. Well done Max!

Don't forget mid week training on Wednesday at 7pm on the floodlit pitch (£2.50 per player).
