Another glorious day, another great training session!

This week we worked on ball handling skills; passing with the wrong hand to build strength and enable more open play opportunities; tackle evasion through side steps pushing off each leg hard; and rucking and tackling skills, trying to build up awareness of what to do and where to be in the breakdown area.

The well executed drills worked well, and the skills practiced were evident during the great match at the end of the session.

Parent's Player of the Week was given to Isaac Byrne for his strong runs making acres of ground, powerful individual tries, tackling skills and deft offloading in the tackle. Also mentioned was Finlay Kelly for his great individual runs leading to several tries, and William Goff for excellent supporting play throughout.

One more week of training before our opening match at Luton RFC, and the boys are looking strong!
