Datchworth Rugby Club

Come and play rugby with us - fitness, fun, and at times muddy for boys in Year 10 at school (turn 15 from 1st September 2025 to 31 August 2026)

Welcome to Datchworth U15s rugby squad where we play in the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Junior League D.

We train on a Thursday night from 7:30am to 9:00pm, and have matches on a Sunday or train from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
All our coaches are suitably qualified and have real experience playing senior rugby in a variety of positions so know the reality of playing the game in wind, rain, and at times sunshine.
We follow the RFU Core Values of Teamwork (working as a part of team), Respect (for the individual, team mates, opposition, coaches etc), Enjoyment (in training, in games, afterwards socially), Discipline (for oneself, for others, in dress, in timings), and Sportsmanship (appreciating it's the playing that counts not winning at any cost).

As a squad we also have other events throughout the year that are less muddy to bring everyone together in drier conditions (generally but not always).

Boys are welcome to come down and have a few sessions to see if they like the rough and tumble where we will work with the player on what they enjoy and want to do.
